The latest addition to Lego’s female scientist minifig family is Her Deepness, Dr. Sylvia Earle (read a Scuttlefish Interview of Dr. Earle by Brian Lam here), and we couldn’t be happier.

The kit, of course, includes a miniature figurine of Dr. Earle, but also an entire E/V Nautilus-style research outfit, a shipwreck, a research team, a deep sea submersible, and a few sharks for good measure, including the endangered sawfish.

Rumor has it that supplies wont last long, and we’ll be paying exponentially more for these toy tributes. There are five kits in all to chose from (see below), starting with the whole exploration vessel kit down to a small scuba scooter, most of which, if not all, will include a mini figure of Her Deepness.
