Watch an Orca Whale Chase and Nibble a Standup Paddleboard

Standup paddler Luke Reilly was about 200 meters offshore of New Zealand on Monday when a killer whale popped up behind him. It investigated him for about five minutes, reports say, before taking a nibble at the tail, realizing it wasn’t food and shooting off.

Luke Reilly was stand-up paddle boarding about 200m offshore yesterday when an orca “popped up” next to him.The killer whale checked him out for about 5 minutes and even had a nibble on his board.Watch the full clip:
