Yao Ming Wants You…to Boycott Shark Fin Soup

We get it — shark fin soup is comfort food many in the east, just as chicken noodle soup is in parts of the west, but it’s also just about as flavorless. But the real travesty, as so viscerally displayed in the WildAid public service announcement below, is that sharks’ fins are so much more commercially valuable than the rest of their flesh that they’re finned and deposited back into the sea, unable to swim or breath and as good as dead.
