This May Be First Footage of Orcas Attacking a Tiger Shark.

This morning, undersea photographer Caroline Power posted up a remarkable video on her Facebook page. It shows a pack of Orcas hunting and killing a tiger shark off Cocos Island, Costa Rica. There’s been footage shot of Orcas attacking a Great White, but this appears to be the first case of the real landlords taking out a tiger.

It seems the Orcas may have been protecting a calf from the shark. In the end, they didn’t let the hapless hunter go to waste. They ate it. The video is below.
