Richard Shucksmith won the British Wildlife Photography Award for best in the animal behavior category

Ecological photographer Richard Shucksmith was  spending the day photographing otters in the Shetland Isles of Scotland when he and his companion turned for home after not having much luck. On their way, they spotted a puffin diving, and Mr. Shucksmith thought to himself whether or not the otter might eat the puffin. His suspicion was confirmed when the otter rose with the lifeless puffin between its teeth.
