Korea’s “Supreme Leader” took time out of his busy schedule of heavy drinking and meetings with Dennis Rodman to (sort of) take control of the periscope of this tattered Cold War-era submarine (belonging to his navy), and even give the captain a few pointers.

The 31-year-old North Korean dictator Kim Jung-un hopped aboard this rusted 1950s- Cold War-era Soviet-built submarine during a recent tour while taking inventory of his country’s subsea warfare fleet.

He even had the nerve to give the captain a few pointers on few navigation techniques of his own. (What those might have been, it’s too difficult to imagine.)

Preceding nuclear-powered subs, this technology was quickly replaced and is far outdated, but North Korea still claims to have a hold on 20 of them.
