Watch a 500-Pound Marlin Attack a 25-Pound Dorado

While fishing off Los Suenos, Costa Rica earlier this month, Captain Mark Garry and his crew witnessed this estimated 500-600-pound blue marlin breach the surface in chase of a 25-pound dorado (mahi mahi, dolphinfish). It’s unclear whether or not the dorado managed to break away from the marlin.

This might be something you’d see as a fisherman, on occasion, had one of these fish been impaired by a hook and line, but both fish were freely swimming.
