The Deepest Swimming Pool
by brian lam
I don’t prefer chlorination to the salinated, but if I had to feel the awe of the deep indoors, I might seek out Nemo 33, the world’s deepest indoor swimming pool that goes to 108 feet in depth.

The pool is filled with 2.5 million gallons of water, and is kept disturbingly warm at 86 degrees of temperature. The coolest thing has to be the various simulated caves, and the silo like feature that goes to the very bottom. The pool is used for dive training. [My interesting files]
That is pretty amazing. What fun that would be to dive in on a cold windy day! I am so going to have to research this pool more…I now need to go there sometime also!
You can see way more pictures and learn a lot more about Nemo 33 here:

Fascinating. This reminds me of the movie “Waterworld” with Kevin Costner in which he swam down to the depths of a flooded city. I wouldn’t mind jumping in this pool and swim walk on the pseudo buildings down there. I guess I’d have to learn how to dive. I’m not a fan of water. But all this stuff looks so interesting to do.
at home we have a kidney-shaped swimming pool that is well maintained, i love swimming on it all day long “”
this is the coolest pool of all time, (i love it)!!!!!!!! I never ever seen one like it before.
I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thats a huge pool!!, and the tempature is good for me since the public school pool is too cool for me when I was taking a swim fit class in the winter
